Pick-Your-Own Tulips
Spring | A fleeting season
Each spring, our tulip fields awaken in waves of color — a brief but breathtaking moment on the farm. Wander the rows, take in the view, and gather your own stems straight from the field.
Tulip season is guided entirely by the weather, and the blooms last only a short time. When the fields open, we share updates through email and social media.
What to know:
-
Open mid-April through early May (weather dependent)
-
Bring clippers or borrow ours
-
No reservation required
It is one of the most beautiful times of the year — and it passes quickly.

Tips & Tricks:
In the garden:
Cut the stems as long as you can at an angle, snipping at the “V” on the plant where the stem branches
Strip off all the leaves on the lower half of the stem – you don’t want any leaves in the water
There are buckets in the rows to discard excess leaves/stems
At the farm:
It’s a good idea to bring bug spray, and sunscreen, and wear comfortable walking shoes
Please be cautious of any irrigation hoses and be aware that the ground may be uneven in spots
Sorry, no dogs allowed in the cutting garden or at the farm
At home with your beautiful flowers:
Change the water daily
Re-cut the stems every couple of days, cut at an angle
Keep the flowers out of the sun and heat
Share your photos with us – we would love to see them!
