Through the Weigel Farmers Collective, Richard Weigold works directly with local farmers to carefully select animals that meet our standards for quality, conformation, and finish. His years of experience raising livestock and working alongside other Connecticut farmers help ensure that the beef we offer is consistently flavorful, tender, and well-marbled.
Depending on the season, our selection may include beef raised here on our own farm as well as beef from trusted partner farms throughout northwest Connecticut. Every animal is chosen with the same goal: bringing exceptional local beef to your family’s table.

Rather than sourcing anonymous beef through commodity markets, we know the farmers, understand how the animals were raised, and stand behind every cut we sell.
