You-Pick Cutting Garden

We are gearing up for our 2025 season!

New this year: Pick Your Own Tulips!

Our first you-pick tulip beds open Spring 2025! The opening date is weather-dependent, of course; it is totally up to Mother Nature to decide.

*Available for a limited time only.* Save $5 by pre-buying 20 pick-your-own tulip stems. Buckets will be provided at the farm for you. Inside the barn, we’ll wrap your tulip bunch for you to take home.

Purchase of this “pre-buy” is good for one visit to the farm (all 20 stems to be picked in one visit). You will be notified when the you-pick tulip garden is open and ready for picking.

Please note: reservations or tickets are not required. There is no admission fee and tulips are first-come, first-served.

Also new for 2025 is our Summer Flower Bouquet CSA. Enjoy 6 weeks (August through September) of locally grown flowers from our field. Shares will be filled with all of our favorites from summer and early fall such as dahlias, lisianthus, zinnias, snapdragons, sunflowers, celosia, and more.

The estimated first pick-up date is Friday, August 1, 2025. You will be notified about the first pickup date at least one week in advance.

Pickups are Fridays at the farm, 59 Old Middle Street (Route 63), Goshen.

How does our summer you-pick work?

We have one-gallon pails available for purchase, or you can BYOB (Bring Your Own Bucket). For smaller bouquets, you can purchase a mason jar at the farm. We do ask that your BYOB be of reasonable size, please. We will provide fresh water and cutting snips and instructions too.

Grab-n-go bouquets are also available for quick shopping!

Looking for custom quantities for special events, or want to book a private cutting garden party? Please contact us, we’ll be glad to help!

Pricing:

  • One gallon pail: $30 (return the pail to reuse on your next trip for $22)
  • Bring your own bucket (or reuse our one gallon pail): $22
  • Bring your own one quart mason jar: $12
  • Mason jars are available for purchase at $3 each

*tax included in these prices

2025 You-pick Flower CSA

What is a CSA?

“CSA” stands for “community supported agriculture.” When you join our flower CSA, you’re supporting our diverse farm ecosystem. You’re helping to feed bees and other pollinators in your neighborhood, supporting your local family farm business, and keeping working agricultural land alive and beautiful. You’re also telling us you want something natural, local, and different than what’s available at the grocery store.

How does it work?

After your purchase via the link below, we will set aside a one gallon pail reserved for you with a punch card. You can stop by the farm and grab your pail ahead of time, or wait until the cutting garden is open. Then, just bring your pail and the punch card each time and enjoy 5 refills of flowers during the growing season (mid-July through October).  We will supply the snips and water.

Cost: $118 (includes sales tax)

**Limited Time Only Sale: $110 (includes sales tax)

Thinking of gifting our You-pick Flower CSA?

Stop by the farm and customize your pail with little treats and goodies from our farm store. We’ll help you put it together!

Tips & Tricks:

In the garden:

Cut the stems as long as you can at an angle, snipping at the “V” on the plant where the stem branches

Strip off all the leaves on the lower half of the stem – you don’t want any leaves in the water

There are buckets in the rows to discard excess leaves/stems

At the farm:

It’s a good idea to bring bug spray, and sunscreen, and wear comfortable walking shoes

Please be cautious of any irrigation hoses and be aware that the ground may be uneven in spots

Sorry, no dogs allowed in the cutting garden or at the farm

At home with your beautiful flowers:

Change the water daily

Re-cut the stems every couple of days, cut at an angle

Keep the flowers out of the sun and heat

Share your photos with us – we would love to see them!
