2024 You-pick Flower CSA

What is a CSA?

“CSA” stands for “community supported agriculture.” When you join our flower CSA, you’re supporting our diverse farm ecosystem. You’re helping to feed bees and other pollinators in your neighborhood, supporting your local family farm business, and keeping working agricultural land alive and beautiful. You’re also telling us you want something natural, local, and different than what’s available at the grocery store.

How does it work?

After your purchase via the link below, we will set aside a one gallon pail reserved for you with a punch card. You can stop by the farm and grab your pail ahead of time, or wait until the cutting garden is open. Then, just bring your pail and the punch card each time and enjoy 5 refills of flowers during the growing season (mid-July through October).  We will supply the snips and water.

Cost: $118 (includes sales tax)

Thinking of gifting our You-pick Flower CSA?

Stop by the farm and customize your pail with little treats and goodies from our farm store. We’ll help you put it together!

Tips & Tricks:

In the garden:

Cut the stems as long as you can at an angle, snipping at the “V” on the plant where the stem branches

Strip off all the leaves on the lower half of the stem – you don’t want any leaves in the water

There are buckets in the rows to discard excess leaves/stems

At the farm:

It’s a good idea to bring bug spray, and sunscreen, and wear comfortable walking shoes

Please be cautious of any irrigation hoses and be aware that the ground may be uneven in spots

Sorry, no dogs allowed in the cutting garden or at the farm

At home with your beautiful flowers:

Change the water daily

Re-cut the stems every couple of days, cut at an angle

Keep the flowers out of the sun and heat

Share your photos with us – we would love to see them!
